
Mild Caribbean Jerk -Style Chicken Wings
Mild Caribbean-Style Air-Fried Chicken Wings 🌴
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp ground allspice (essential for that Caribbean vibe!)
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon (just a touch for warmth)
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- ½ tbsp coconut aminos (or gluten-free soy sauce)
- ½ tsp mild chili powder (optional for a tiny kick)
Instructions:
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, honey, and coconut aminos.
2️⃣ Add all the dry spices and mix into a paste.
3️⃣ Toss the wings in the marinade, making sure they’re well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight is even better!).
4️⃣ Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
5️⃣ Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 22-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
6️⃣ Optional: Increase temp to 400°F for the last 3 minutes for extra crispiness!
